Schwartzie McMarrow
Schwartzie McMarrow

Metacarpal or metatarsal: can’t remember the difference? Why not use Schwartzie McMarrow, the Medical Library’s resident skeleton. Loanable for two hours, Schwartzie is a life-sized 3D model whose plastic-cast bones are realistically weighted to provide an authentic anatomical experience. Schwartzie resides in the Reserve section of the Medical Library. (Library Link: http://bit.ly/VEgEqx)

The Medical library has also acquired a new half-set of bones (donated by the New Zealand Medical Association).

And for School of Dentistry students (perhaps) there is a life-sized plastic skull with a full set of teeth for examination.
