Nature Publishing Group released a new journal earlier this year, Nature Reviews Disease Primers, which is available across the three medical campuses.
“The latest Nature Reviews title is an online-only, peer-reviewed journal that publishes broad overview articles — called Primers — on diseases and disorders across all medical specialties.”
PrimeViews are illustrated summaries of the Primers – here’s an example of Diabetes Mellitus.
“Each Primer provides a global overview of the field and outlines key open research questions. Primers have a modular structure, covering epidemiology; disease mechanisms; diagnosis, screening and prevention; management; and quality of life. Authored by an international panel of academic scientists, translational researchers and clinicians, new Primers are published every week.”
At this stage, the Library has a subscription until the end of 2015, see http://www.nature.com/nrdp/ (from a University computer).
