Due to popular demand, the Library Postgraduate Workshop series will be run again, beginning 14th November. Topics covered include a general Library introduction, keeping up to date with the literature, managing your references, thesis information, and publishing. Please register as places are limited.

-Tracking the needle in the haystack. A hands-on introductory workshop for students wanting to learn how to use RSS and e-mail alerts to keep track of research. 21 November
-Taming of the bib. A presentation of two University of Otago supported bibliographic managers. Come and compare Endnote and Refworks and see which one will work best for you. 28 November
-Surviving the thesis journey. An interactive workshop highlighting important aspects of thesis preparation including; copyright, writing, submitting, and depositing. 5 December
-Exploring the open publishing landscape. An interactive workshop about open access, open publishing and how it relates to your research. 12 December
